Story shared by visitors

I bought this for my dad as part of his 60th celebrations as I know he always loved the bricks, and even bought one for his dad years earlier (John Potter 1920-1995). My dad has been a Sunderland supporter his whole life, and when I came along in 1993, all he wanted to do was take me to Roker Park. However, I was too young to ever go. He took me to my first game at the SoL against Crewe Alexandra in April 1998 and we have been going ever since. A story my dad frequently recounts is the 4-1 game against Chelsea where I cried that it was too loud for me. I think it was maybe the fact I nearly touched the Premier Concourse roof when SKP scored that volley. He told me that it was "never going to get any better than this, son" with tears in his eyes. How right he was until May 2026, when Le Bris, Xhaka and co led us to Europe when we cried again for different reasons, in the same Premier Concourse. Ha'way the lads!
