Story shared by visitors

Mam and Dad bought a brick for John & I (mine’s next to his) for Xmas. Dad took us to our first game in 1968. Sunderland 2 v 2 Burnley…. All I remember of the game was the magic of being in the Fulwell … and a magnificent save by Monty (that doesn’t narrow things down). We were together at Milton Keynes at his last match. It was also my Grandson’s first…. Wheel of Life John and I were there home & away … promotions, relegations, and 4-1 at Sid James (thank you, Gary). We had many trips to Wembley… “why is it never us” … unfortunately we lost John before the Pizza Cup, Wycombe and Sheff Utd. So he never enjoyed the experience of being there when we won. But his daughter, Carly & I know John is there with us along with Mam & Dad. Sunderland’til I die
