About this brick
This is in memory of our dad, who grew up in the Monkwearmouth area and at the age of 4yrs fell into the river Wear and was hauled out by men in a Cobble, presumed dead. Newspaper clipping with this confirming it, but thankfully to the fishermen in the boat for retrieving dad otherwise myself and 2 brothers wouldn't be here to pay tribute to this man, our father❤️
