Story shared by visitors

I bought this brick simply because I wanted my name to be part of the Stadium of Light — part of the fabric of Sunderland AFC. My roots in Sunderland go back generations, following the club from its earliest days, so it felt important to have that connection permanently there. What started as a personal project to improve my programming skills later turned into building an archive of every Wall of Fame brick, helping thousands of fans find their own and reconnect with memories. Seeing the response from people — especially those finding bricks for loved ones — has been something I never expected. I later realised my brick sits on Panel 7, Row 3 — a small but meaningful link to 1973 FA Cup Final, a year that means everything to Sunderland supporters.
