Hi , I read your article and think it's truly amazing so thought I would do a search for my father in law Tom Howey and found him straight away leaving me totally gob smacked and can't wait to show my wife Gaynor who is Tom's Daughter but the little twist in this story is Tom is actually a far relation to Steve & Lee Howey one of course played for Sunderland ! Just over the moon I found it and. can't wait to show it to my wife and his son Jason Howey and his grand kids all of which are great Sunderland supporters ! Sadly Tom passed away some years ago now and we all never knew where his brick was so it's amazing we can go and visit him now when going to the ground or passing when at the sheepfolds . God bless Tom we found you !
