We got to know about SAFC during Covid via the Netflix documentary. Sunderland and our home city (Budapest - Ujpest district at the north of the city) has lot of similarities: used-to-have-shipyards, great football club with massive fan base and very kind people :) It was in 2024 spring, when we first saw the SoL and the lads vs. Millwall and then same year October vs. Leeds - still in the Championship era. Regretfully we could not get a ticket in 2025 for a suitable time, but in 2026 we returned again in Jan vs. Crystal Palace and in April vs. Nottingham. We are a fans (father and daughter) from Hungary, having a SAFC-themed garden pub (called 'The Shipyards') at home and hoping to get a chance to have tickets for any good match in 2027 still. Since both of our birthdays are in April, would be great to get to SoL again at that time next year.

  • "We finally found this after 20 years."
  • "This brick was bought for our wedding."
  • "A small tribute to someone who loved Sunderland."
